Our Programs

Our programs cater to Level 1 & Level 2 ASD youth aged between 6 and 24.

PosAbilities is an NDIS provider and all of our programs are delivered by qualified and experienced staff.

How we operate

  1. Our priority is the development of each individual, focussing on their strengths and developing goals to maximise their potential. Our Vision is Strong Minds : Strong Futures.

  2. Through the provision of either 1:1 coaching or group coaching, we develop a program that suits the individual, ensuring that it is tailored to suit each young person.

  3. We provide a highly supportive service that focuses on the positive, to build strong minds to enable strong futures.

  4. Delivery of our programs can be face to face or via Zoom. With negotiation, we deliver programs to areas outside of the Illawarra.

Please get in touch to discuss how we can best support you.

We work with NDIS clients and non-NDIS clients.

  • Positive Coaching

The program was devised based on Positive Psychology methods and research, focussing on what clients currently CAN do and build on that to maximise their potential, increasing skills in resilience, relationships and confidence, but also teaching them the elements of being happier.

  • 10 Steps to Happiness

Scientific research has shown that there are things we all need in order to be happy. We have developed a program that incorporates these elements into an easy to remember model, relevant for youth and appropriate for those on the spectrum.

  • Lawn Maintenance Program

Our Lawn Maintenance Team have a number of projects to increase their skills and experiences in Gardening maintenance. As part of this project, we are offering to mow lawns for the public at a reasonable cost. Our services include mowing the lawn and doing the edges.

  • School Holiday Programs

Bored in the School Holidays? Then get in touch and join us for daily leisure activities over the school holidays, ranging from visits to the Zoo, Movies, Bushwalks & picnics, Symbio Wildlife Park, Trip to Canberra, Shopping and so much more!

  • Employment Program

Our goal is to have all participants in open employment or volunteering placements and show the open market how valuable ASD people are in their workplace. We teach participants specific skills to transition into open employment, including how to develop a career pathway plan and find real-world employment experiences.

  • School Leaver Employment Support (SLES)

Our focus is on building the capacity, awareness, confidence and independence to enter the workforce or into volunteer work after school. This program provides school leavers with transition to work skills, opportunities and experience.

  • Autism-friendly First Aid Courses

In partnership with Accidental Health & Safety, we are offering First Aid Certified Courses that have been specifically developed for our Neurodivergent youth.

"I can only give positive praise for Jo as a teacher for my son. She was supportive, understanding & nurturing for him as an individual. She allowed him to learn & be himself. This gave him the skills so that now he is working, driving & living his life to the fullest. Jo has given him skills that will stay with him his whole life. I highly recommend Jo for any child on the spectrum, her support & skills will only enhance your child’s life."

"I just wanted to say thank you for all the help and support that you have given Dylan. Without your continuous support and guidance, I’m sure Dylan wouldn’t be where he is today, as you go above and beyond to help these kids and I just want you to know you are so inspiring as the passion and enthusiasm you have to help my son and kids on the spectrum is just amazing. So, thank you so much!"
